The 2nd Sunday of Easter

The Second Sunday of Easter invites us into the quiet, steadying aftermath of resurrection. The shock of Easter morning begins to settle, and the Church leans into a deeper truth: the risen Christ meets us not only in triumph, but in locked rooms, fearful hearts, and honest doubts. Today is about assurance – God’s faithfulness that holds us when our faith feels thin, and the living hope that anchors us even when we cannot yet see.

Collect

Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ’s Body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
