The Third Sunday in Lent

This Sunday’s readings draw us into the deep places of human longing—our thirst for assurance, our need for mercy, and God’s unwavering desire to meet us where we are. Together, these readings set a mood of honest questioning, deep listening, and surprising grace—a reminder that God meets us in our thirst and leads us toward renewal.

Collect

Lord of the wellspring, source of life and truth: Jesus asked for water from the hands of a woman in the land of the stranger; may he teach us to name our need, to love our neighbour and to worship you in spirit and in truth, through Jesus Christ, who shows us who we are. Amen.
